Ariel needs help to continue her pregnancy.

It’s that simple.

It’s true: Abortion is no longer legal in Wisconsin due to a pre-Roe abortion ban that went into effect after the historical overturning of Roe V. Wade.
It’s also true that women still have easy access to abortion – and that many groups are covering the costs of those abortions and providing free travel to women seeking abortions.

But who is helping the women who make a choice to continue their pregnancy?

Who is providing them with the resources and help they need to thrive? That’s where you and I come in. Care Net has a good foundation of support for these women – but it’s one we must expand in order to keep being there for women like Ariel.

Ariel’s boyfriend says abortion is the only answer to their unplanned pregnancy. She’s in her second semester at college and she’s got big plans, including dreams of a career in marketing. Adjusting to college life has been hard enough. How will she handle being pregnant? Will she have to give up her dreams? Her friends think she’s crazy to even think about continuing the pregnancy.

But in her heart, that’s what Ariel wants to do. She wants to have this baby. Ever since she visited our clinic and saw her child on the ultrasound, she can’t stop thinking about that precious baby – her baby. “I feel so alone,” she tells the nurse, “I don’t know if I can do this on my own.”

You and I can make sure Ariel isn’t alone – and that she is surrounded by a community of support who will celebrate her right to choose life. You can come alongside her with resources like parenting classes, baby items, diapers, and help finding a job. You can even give her a place to live for free while she builds the resources she needs for her and her baby.

Together, we can say to women like Ariel, “We’re here for you. You don’t have to give up your baby OR your hopes and dreams for the future.”

Will you help Ariel? You and I know her child will be a gift to the world.
And we can help her build the resources she needs to thrive. She doesn’t have to do this alone. You can walk beside her – freely offering caring support, steadfast hope for her future, and the good news of the Gospel that will equip her to be the woman and mother that God has created her to be.

I hope you’ll join me in making a gift. Let’s be there for the generation of women who reject abortion and choose life for their preborn babies.
