You may have seen the “We’re hiring” ads on our Facebook page, eblasts or our website. And it’s true – we are hiring. But we aren’t just looking for people to work here – we’re looking for people whom God is calling to serve women and families facing unintended pregnancies. And that’s a big difference. Because many people can handle the tasks The Elizabeth House role requires – spending the night, setting alarms, holding or rocking an infant. But only people who have a desire to love these moms like Christ loves them, and to care unconditionally for them, without judgement of past choices or mistakes, can truly walk alongside our moms the way we need you to.
So, if that’s you – if you feel that little prompting in your heart to do more to help pregnant women and/or single moms, then think about joining our team! We are in need of women to “do life” alongside the moms and babies by coming one evening/overnight a week and one weekend a month. We provide food, private sleeping quarters, and lots of opportunities to minister and share God’s love.
We are also looking for a part-time patient advocate to serve on our mobile clinic – going directly into underserved neighborhoods to serve and love women and rescue families from the heartache of abortion.
